Retail packaging
You want your retail cardboard packaging to stand out on the shelf and meet retailers' requirements. In practice, we see packaging being rejected due to wrong choice of material, unclear communication or lack of sustainability.
We advise and supply cardboard packaging that gets it right: with Cradle to Cradle certified options, CO₂-neutral printing and FSC materials. This increases your visibility and prevents rejection.
cardboard shipping packaging
Your packaging arrives at the customer's home: this is where your brand is assessed. If things go wrong, you will see that reflected in returns, damage or negative reviews.
We recommend and provide shipping packaging that minimises shipping damage and enhances the unboxing experience, so your brand impresses at the door too

Practical example: Custom cardboard packaging for seeds with twenty designs
A supplier of flower and herb seeds was looking for custom cardboard packaging that customers could fill and seal themselves. In addition, the packaging had to be completely plastic-free, and there was a need for many different designs in small runs.
The biggest problem was practical in nature. The packaging had to be easy to seal, while small seeds were not allowed to fall out of the packaging during storage, transport, or sale. At the same time, the packaging also had to match the natural look and feel of the brand.
PurePack developed an envelope-shaped packaging from PaperWise, a material made from agricultural waste. By adding an extra fold line across the full width, the seeds stayed better in the packaging. The peel-and-seal closure made manual filling and closing simple for the user.
By cleverly combining twenty designs on different print sheets, offset printing could be used, which kept printing costs manageable and ensured the flower illustrations were reproduced sharply and in vibrant colour.
The result was a cardboard packaging that connected to the customer's filling process and offered sufficient flexibility for a wide range of products with many different designs.

Frequently asked questions
From what quantities can I have packaging produced?
At PurePack, you can have packaging produced from relatively low volumes. For flexible packaging, we often start from 1,000 pieces (or 500 per design). This makes it possible to test and scale up quickly without large inventories.
Request a quote without obligationHow do I know if my packaging complies with PPWR and sustainability guidelines?
This depends on the choice of materials, construction and recyclability. PurePack will advise you on this and help you choose solutions such as mono-materials and FSC-certified cardboard, so that your packaging complies with current and future regulations.
Request tailored PPWR adviceWhich packaging is suitable for reducing returns and transport damage?
Packaging that is well-suited to your product and transport process reduces damage and returns. Think sturdy cardboard shipping boxes or flexible packaging with the correct thickness and sealing. PurePack advises on this based on your product and logistics.
What is the practical cost of incorrect packaging?
Incorrect packaging often leads to transport damage, returns, and lower conversion. Additionally, it can result in rejection in retail or negative reviews. These costs quickly add up and are often higher than investing in the correct packaging beforehand. PurePack helps you prevent this where possible by providing honest advice for the production of your packaging.
What is the difference between cardboard and flexible packaging?
Cardboard packaging is suitable for retail presentation and protection. Flexible packaging is lighter, more efficient in transport, and suitable for products with varying volumes. PurePack advises which option best suits your application.
